New Music Monday submission Policy
effective: January 1, 2026  Updated: April 1, 2026

​New Music Monday is a live music submission and review opportunity for creators who are actively present during the livestream.
This policy explains who is eligible to submit, how to submit, what to expect, and the terms that apply when music is submitted for possible playback during the live session.

1. Purpose of New Music Monday
New Music Monday is a interactive livestream experience where artists who are present and participating
during the broadcast may submit music to be considered for playback during that livestream only.
This is not the same as submitting music to PDX Radio for station programming, rotation,
chart consideration, playlisting, interviews, editorial coverage, or any other platform opportunity.

2. Live Participation Requirement
To be eligible to submit music for New Music Monday, the artist or authorized submitter must be:

• actively present in the livestream while it is taking place
• watching the livestream live at the time of submission
• participating in the session in real time

If the submitter is not present during the livestream, the track is not eligible for playback in that session.
Rappy and PDX Radio reserve the right to determine whether a participant has satisfied the live participation requirement.

3. Submission Eligibility
By submitting music to New Music Monday, the submitter represents and warrants that they:

• are the artist, rights holder, or an authorized representative of the artist or rights holder
• own, control, or have secured all rights, permissions, licenses, consents, and approvals necessary to submit the music
• have authority to permit playback of the submitted track during the livestream
• have obtained permission from any featured artists, producers, writers, performers, labels, managers, publishers, licensors, or other parties with an ownership or approval interest in the recording or composition including any samples used
• are legally authorized to provide any associated names, likenesses, credits, artwork, and metadata submitted with the track

If you do not own the music or do not have clear authority to submit it, do not submit it.

4. One-Time Livestream Playback Only
Music submitted to New Music Monday is only being considered for one-time playback during that live livestream session.
Playback during New Music Monday does not mean that the song has been accepted for PDX Radio station play, has been added to station rotation, has been approved for future airplay, will be reposted, replayed, archived, clipped, promoted, distributed, published, or featured elsewhere, has received an endorsement, approval, or recommendation from rappy or PDX Radio, qualifies for chart placement, editorial placement, playlisting, interviews, or any additional opportunity.

5. paid Line-skip option
Artists participating in the livestream may have the option to pay a $10 Skip the Line fee.
This optional payment is strictly for queue priority during that specific livestream session only.
The Line-skip fee only affects the order in which eligible submissions may be reviewed or played during the livestream.
It does not guarantee:
playback in full, favorable commentary or feedback, station airplay, future playback, playlist placement, chart placement, editorial coverage, promotion, interviews, business opportunities, endorsements, any result, outcome, or commercial benefit of any kind.
All final decisions regarding whether, when, or how long a track is played remain at the sole discretion of Rappy and PDX Radio.

6. Not Station Submission / Not Station Airplay
New Music Monday is a livestream-only submission opportunity.
Submitting or playing a song during New Music Monday does not make that song part of
PDX Radio’s station library, programming schedule, playlist, charts, or radio rotation.
A track played during the livestream has not been “added to the station”
unless it has been submitted and approved through the official station process.

7. Not Pay-to-Play
New Music Monday is not pay-to-play station airplay.
The optional Skip the Line fee does not purchase radio play, guaranteed exposure, guaranteed promotion, or guaranteed platform placement.
It is only a voluntary queue-priority option for artists who are already present and participating live in the stream.
Payment has no influence of a track being accepted for station programming, editorial use, or any future opportunity outside the livestream.

8. No Guarantee of Playback
Submission of a track does not guarantee that the track will be played.
A track may be skipped, declined, stopped, shortened, removed, or not played at all for any reason, including but not limited to:
time limitations, livestream interruptions, technical issues, broken or inaccessible links, poor audio quality, duplicate submissions, failure to follow instructions, lack of live participation, inappropriate, offensive, unlawful, or misleading content, concerns regarding rights, ownership, or authorization, platform restrictions or takedown risk, general fit, flow, discretion, or operational judgment
No refunds are required or guaranteed unless PDX Radio expressly states otherwise.

9. Content and Conduct Standards
PDX Radio and Rappy reserve the right to refuse or stop playback of any submission that, in their sole judgment, is:
unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, fraudulent, 
misleading, spam-related, malicious, excessively low quality, intended to disrupt the livestream,
or otherwise inconsistent with the standards, direction, or safety of the platform.
Participants in the livestream are also expected to engage respectfully.
PDX Radio and Rappy reserve the right to mute, block, remove, or ignore participants whose conduct is
disruptive, abusive, manipulative, or otherwise harmful to the livestream environment.

10. Copyright, Ownership, and Rights Responsibility
The submitter is solely responsible for the music they submit and for ensuring that all necessary rights and permissions are in place.
By submitting music, the submitter agrees that:
PDX Radio does not verify ownership claims before playback. 
PDX Radio does not guarantee that a submitted track is free of infringement claims, disputes, or restrictions. 
PDX Radio is not responsible for resolving disputes between artists, producers, writers, labels, managers, collaborators, or third parties.
PDX Radio is not liable for any copyright claims, ownership disputes, royalty disputes, clearance failures, unauthorized submissions, metadata errors, false representations, or any other issue arising from or related to the submitted music.
The submitter assumes full responsibility and liability for the submission and any consequences resulting from it.

11. Indemnification
By submitting music to New Music Monday, the submitter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless
PDX Radio, Pretty Dope Xperience - PDX Radio LLC, Rappy Dooski, Alyssa McPherson,
and their affiliates, owners, officers, agents, representatives, contractors, and partners
from and against any claims, demands, disputes, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, penalties, costs, and expenses,
including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
the submitted music, alleged or actual copyright infringement, ownership disputes, unauthorized use allegations, 
false statements or misrepresentations by the submitter, violations of law, platform rules, or third-party rights,
or any breach of this policy by the submitter.

12. Technical and Platform Limitations
rappy and PDX Radio are not responsible for failed, delayed, muted, blocked, interrupted, removed, distorted, or incomplete playback caused by:
livestream platform moderation systems, copyright detection systems, connection issues, buffering or device issues, broken links or inaccessible files, file corruption, format incompatibility, human error, outages, takedowns, or other technical limitations
Playback may be affected by the rules, restrictions, or enforcement systems of Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform used.

13. No Business Relationship Created
Submission to New Music Monday does not create any of the following:
artist management relationship, agency relationship, employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary relationship, label agreement, publishing agreement, distribution agreement, licensing agreement, sponsorship agreement, or long-term service relationship.
Participation in the livestream is limited to the specific submission opportunity described in this policy unless otherwise agreed in writing.

14. No Promise of Results
PDX Radio and Rappy make no promises or guarantees regarding exposure, audience growth, fan conversion, business opportunities,
playlisting, media traction, monetization, or career outcomes resulting from participation in New Music Monday.
Any feedback given during the livestream is opinion-based, offered for entertainment, commentary, or educational purposes,
and should not be interpreted as a promise, representation, or guarantee.

15. Right to Modify, Refuse, or End the Program
PDX Radio and Rappy reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to:
modify these rules, change the submission process, change the Line-skip fee, limit the number of submissions, refuse any participant or submission, pause, suspend, or discontinue New Music Monday, and remove or revise posted information related to the livestream

16. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting music to New Music Monday, joining the livestream for submission purposes,
or using the optional Skip the Line feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
you have read and understood this policy, you are legally authorized to submit the music, 
you accept full responsibility for the material submitted, you understand that payment only affects queue order for that livestream session, you understand that New Music Monday does not guarantee station airplay, future placement, or promotion,
