this experience is meant to result in sharable promotional content
 and must remain a fun and comfortable space for everyone involved.
This is a professional interview setting.
recordings of this session are meant to reflect your artistry in the best way possible.

or behavior that shifts the energy away from the interview will not be permitted.

Our space is built for creativity, content creation, respect, and professionalism
— please treat it accordingly.
1. Scheduling & Confirmation:
  • All in-person interviews must be scheduled in advance. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
  • Guests must confirm their attendance at least 48 hours before the interview.
  • Failure to confirm may result in cancellation.

2. Location & Arrival:

  • The PDX Radio™ Studio is located in Portland, Or. (address provided upon booking confirmation.)
  • Guests should arrive about 10 minutes early to allow time for setup and sound checks.
  • Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes past the scheduled time) will result in rescheduling or cancellation.​​

​​ 2. Technical Requirements:
  • Reliable Internet Connection: Please ensure you have a stable and reliable internet connection. Perform all updates and limit unnecessary web traffic well before interview time.
  • Audio Equipment: use a quality microphone.
  • *Using a mobile device: In order to avoid audio feedback and interference please use earbuds or headphones to ensure best sound quality.
  • Quiet Environment: Make sure you will be in a quiet, distraction-free location during the duration of the interview.​​

guests that Fail to arrive and fail to contact PDX Radio™ before the end of the scheduled timeslot

3. Interview Duration & Conduct
  • Interviews will last approximately 30 minutes.
  • Guests must be respectful and professional at all times.
  • No excessive profanity, hate speech, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated.
  • come prepared to discuss your music, career, and relevant topics.​
​4. Audio & Video Recording
PDX Radio will record both audio and video during the interview.
By participating, guests grant permission for PDX Radio to use interview footage for promotional purposes.

5. Interview Topics and Preferences
  • Talking Points or Topics to Avoid: Let us know if there are specific topics you’d like to cover or prefer to avoid.
  • Current Projects or Announcements: be ready to Let our audience know where to find you and talk about any new music, upcoming shows, tours, or projects you want to promote during the interview.
6. Branding & Promotion
  • If you have merchandise, apparel, or accessories featuring your brand, we encourage you to wear or display it during the interview.
  • you are encouraged to promote your interview on social media before and after the session.
  • If providing music to perform at the interview, files must be submitted in MP3 or WAV format
at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Instrumental/show set versions only.  no pre-recorded verse vocals. Pre-recorded hook / ad-libs are ok.

7. Guests & Entourage
One additional guest is allowed unless pre-approved.
​Let us know if you’d like us to accommodate additional guests in advance.
All guests must follow the same rules of professionalism and respect
8. Release and Consent 
  • Recording Permission: 
the interview will be recorded and used for future broadcasts or promotions.
  • Copyright Clearance: 
your music will be used in promotional content. 
ensure you have permission to submit these songs, including all samples.
9. Scheduling and Time Constraints
  • Confirm Interview Duration:
Please be available for at least 30 minutes. This provides sufficient time to connect, work out any technical issues if they arise, give you a quick introduction, and then conduct and close the interview. The length of the interview itself is usually around 20 minutes. ​
  • Time Zone Coordination: If there is a time difference, be sure to confirm the interview time in both time zones to avoid confusion.

  • Bio and Press Kit:
A brief bio, press photos, any relevant details about your career and recent projects.
We like to know where you're from and how you got started making music at minimum.

  • Music Submission:
your latest single, preferably in a high-quality audio format.
we will play your tracks during or after the interview.
Please specify if a song was recently released or if this will be a “World Premier”.

  • Social Media Handles:
Provide your social media accounts for promotion before the interview.​

 - Cancellations & Rescheduling -

If you need to cancel or reschedule,
​notify PDX Radio at least 24 hours in advance.
No-call/no-shows will not be rescheduled in the future.
